It’s Time for the
17th Annual Read-A-Thon!
Last year’s Read-A-Thon raised $10,091!
The Read-A-Thon is the Hull PTO’s largest and most successful fundraiser. 100% of Read-A-Thon profits are used to fund field trips, cultural enrichment programs, and other activities to enhance the quality of education to all K-12 Hull students.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS…
WHO
Students attending Memorial Middle School. (Click here for Jacobs Elementary School Read-A-Thon details.)
WHAT
Every student engages in literacy as much as they can! Read as much as you can during the Read-A-Thon and record minutes read in your reading log. You may count required reading as well as reading for fun. Time spent reading in Advisory, Enrichment, for homework, after school, and during lunch all count toward your reading total. However, in-class reading does not count.
Students will use the reading log, located in Notability, to track minutes and for the required parent/guardian signature.
MMS students MUST submit their signed reading log as homework in Schoology by February 10th to be eligible for prizes. Any students who are absent will have the opportunity to submit their logs the next day, but no logs will be accepted after February 11th.
WHEN
The Read-A-Thon is live from Friday, January 31 at 3:00pm through Sunday, February 9 at 10:00pm. (Click here for Jacobs Elementary School Read-A-Thon details.)
***We are counting on parents/guardians to help remind our students about the official start and end times!
Reading logs, pledge sheets, and donations are due on Monday, February 10th.
